These are standard hole punches with a rubber handle. The rubber handle is too big for it so there is a bunch of excess handing off the back of the handle with no support under it. I also seem to struggle punching single sheets of paper. The punches either get stuck or the paper tears. It works better on sturdier paper such as cardstock. When the punches get stuck sometimes I have to hit the side of them to get them to release. Again, it's a standard hole punch that punches a shape, nothing special. Wish it was as easy to use as the conductor on Polar Express, but sadly they're not.

I purchased these for my classroom if third graders. We use punch cards for completed work and students earn prizes for filled cards. Of the three in this set, one pinched a hole the size of a pin head, one broke after using it twice, and the other would stick when it was punched. I do not recommend these at all. Waste of my money and my time.

Two of the three are easy for my young children to use. There is one that is tough to squeeze together.
