Wrong part. This does not fit the 2003 Outback 2.5 as described.

Installed in a 2014 Subaru Outback 2.5l engine. This is an enexpensive part that is often overlooked but important for the engine and easy to install. The rubber hose can be brittle if never changed so you might want to get one before installation.

This part is not a direct fit for a 2012 Subaru Forester. It screws in, but the hose barb is too small for the hose. If I could give it negative stars I would because it does not fit the vehicle it is advertised for.

Check the original part number before you order and install, or you will be doing job twice. Part looked the same as pcv taken out, but engine spewed white smoke . It was the wrong part . The correct 2011 pcv valve is part 118110AA141. It is best to use a genuine part for this.
