I have a bulldog, who is too big for these. They work fine, but I over torqued one out of an abundance of caution, to keep it secure in the ground. I snapped it off lol. I would say a Frenchie might be the biggest dog that should be used.

I love these tethers for my two small inside dogs who love to lounge outside with me while I'm tanning and reading on nice days. I use their harnesses to tye them off so they are not attached my their collars but they have plenty of room to play and relax they also have a kiddie pool that they play in and lounge in.

Bought these for when we go camping. It was for my frenchies. The length on these things are amazing. I love them. Definitely worth the buy

Well, received these and they looked great! Stated they were rated for large dogs and I thought, FANTASTIC! I have two year old Rottweilers as they're big, but certainly not full grown. (They could be mistaken for a small horse but I digress...) A two pack was perfect for my situation... When I received the package, I was a bit suspicious as they didn't quite look as though they were as strong as I believed they were. I left one still in the inner package and set up the other. As the pups had been on a shorter line when I put one on this one, she got excited and ran full-bore to the end of the chain AND the top part of the screw in thing SNAPPED RIGHT OFF! Holy Smokes!!! That could have been a disaster had I not been standing right there to corral her! (People are cautious around Rotties as of course, they are guard dogs) Needless to say, these are being packed up and sent back.Now on the other hand, if you had a smaller pup or one that doesn't pull, get excited or you know, act like a jerk, it may be great for you. For my needs AND the way this set-up was advertised, I expected it to be strong and safe. Neither of those apply hence the one star rating...
