My vacuum model is Bissell 3197 and as it was described, I ordered the kit but the belts are shorter so they are too tight and broke on the first use, it doesn’t match original characteristics

This is the ultimate replacement set for my Bissell Cleanview Swivel Rewind Pet vacuum cleaner. I've had this vacuum for over 3 years and in that time have already changed the belt twice, so it's nice to have extra belts on hand. It's no fun being in the middle of vacuuming and the belt breaks, leaving your floor dirty until you order a new belt. Luckily, this set includes 4 brand new belts, so I won't have to wait for a replacement the next time it happens. And it's bound to happen again because let's be real, use = wear.In the last 3 years I have also replaced the filter a couple of times. I'm too embarrassed to show you what the most recent filter looked like, but let's just say a replacement was well overdue. This set also includes 4 brand new filters and they fit perfectly. In the past I have bought Febreze scented filters, but these are just regular filters. They fit all the same, but do not have any kind of scent to them.Lastly, is the brush roll. My current brush roll didn't look too terrible and I probably could have used the cleaning tool that was included in this set to remove strings and hair, but I decided to put the replacement brush roll to the test and went ahead and changed it. The only difference from the original, is the colors of the bristles. Everything else is the same.However, I did notice when vacuuming that the vacuum seems easier to move across my rugs and I can't figure out why. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. The vacuum is on the lowest possible height, which is what I have always used. I can't help but wonder if the brush is not digging the bristles into the carpet and releasing the dirt. Maybe the bristles are too stiff? It has been a while since we used the vacuum brand new, so I can't remember if this is how it moved initially, but I feel like the original brush roll wasn't as easy to move across my rugs. Regardless, it does still clean really well and seems to be picking up a lot of dirt, at least by the looks of the container.

I’m not one to usually buy replacement parts, but I have cleaned the filter many times and the vacuum just doesn’t work well anymore. The new filter was great and took me from red to green right away. That was great. I replaced the brush and belt and then I replaced the belt twice more as the new ones have broken before sweeping even one room with the vacuum. What is up with that! The original belt lasted years, and now these new ones can’t last a room.
