With 6 of these gorgeous, golden metal bookmarks in a pack, they are so worth the price! Especially for how pretty they are. I like how some of them, particularly the Pink Roses, have added golden detail on the picture that rises up just enough for you to feel it if you glide your finger over it. Needless to say, the quality is great.However, if they're stuck down too far onto a page or the marker gets knocked from where it peaks out of the book, the page is likely to tear. I was using one of these bookmarks with the book I was carrying in my bag, I must have knocked the top at some point and pushed it further down into the book which cut the page by where the main body meets the outer edge of the bookmark. I'm also not too fond of how after having the bookmark gently slid onto the page for just a few minutes, the page indented, again, where the main body and outer edge of the bookmark meet.As a normal bookmark that is laid between pages to mark your place, these are wonderful. But their purpose of sliding over the page, I personally don't use them for that. But since I do have a set of them, I replaced the paper bookmarks in books that I'm in the middle of reading, and they give a nice cohesive look to the books stacked on my shelves. with their size/thickness, they actually stay in my books better laid between the pages versus slid onto the page anyway.All-in-all, I would recommend them, but I would caution book lovers that if they value not creasing the tops of their book pages, you might not want to slide them onto the pages and only use these as normal bookmarks.

These bookmarks are quite beautiful! However, they are quite thin and delicate, as well, and would serve well more as a novelty gift item for family and friends. There are 6 different designs and the intricate metal cutting is smooth with no sharp edges. When using them, I find that I need to be careful, though, to not tax the metal by clipping together any more than a couple pages at a time, lest the marker get bent. Again, these bookmarks would serve best as novelty gift items. For that purpose, I would recommend them.
