I suspected we had a minor leak in our garage, but this device clarified it wasn't a leak, just an odor from batteries charging. I confirmed it wasn't a false positive by testing with open burners.

This has monitor is easy to use, not really sure how accurate is but we used it tested it at home.Recently while working on my house I decided to get this because I didn't want to do something and unintentionally cause damage to a gas line and not notice it which can be very dangerous if not noticed in time. So this gave me that peace of mind that if I did do something wrong I can know about it.

My opinion is that this gas detector stands out from others available on the market due to the fact that it has many indications. You are certain to be informed of possible gas hazards in any situation thanks to the mix of vibration, loud warnings, and a visual display. It is essential to have this redundancy, particularly in conditions that are loud, visually hard, or both. Real-time gas concentration levels are shown on the LCD screen, which enables choices to be made quickly and with complete knowledge. One of the most notable benefits, in my opinion, is the ability to be recharged. When compared to alternatives that are disposable, the gas detector is a more cost-effective and environmentally responsible option since it can be recharged. An exceptional battery life allows the device to continue to function normally even after lengthy hours of usage without compromising its functionality. Having the knowledge that the gas detector will be ready to go whenever I need it is a great source of comfort.

Finally received it and naturally, The first thing I did Was try to find something flammable to measure it. The thing went bonkers. Flashing red screen, arrows, and screaming like a banshee! I had no idea what to make with it, Because my house had not exploded yet. Then I started doing some reading. First this sensor a is not instant. It needs time to warm up. You need to let the thing think a little bit when powering it on For it to function correctly. Don't pee your pants if it starts screaming at you right away because it's still geting redy. Just tap the button to acknowledge it, walk outside, And let it sniff some fresh air. Then you're ready to start searching! This Device is meant to confirm or Deny the presence Of a flammable substance. If you're looking for more information than that , you need a better one. It will not tell you the quantity it detects, Or the item it is detecting. The best you get are a couple of arrows of which you can guess more are bad. You do not know if you are approaching flash point. How is this useful? Well , it gives you an idea if you need to evacuate the building. If you're running things with propane Connectors , you can check to see which one maybe leaking. And for you teenagers out there, Yes you can use it to tell if your buddy Farts, methane. So it's a way to confirm the presence of something. But at that point you get out and get somebody there Who knows how to handle it and probably has a better sniffer. The last problem is the sensor itself. Manufacturer instructs you to recalibrate Yet does not provide instructions on how to do so and says that the sensor tip should be replaced after a year. Believe me after looking, It's far cheaper to throw it away and get another. It will detect your leak, but The longer you have it, the less you should trust it.
