This is a superior quality raincoat. Everything about this raincoat is high-quality. I wore this jacket one day when it was pouring outside. The material did a great job at keeping me dry and warm against the wind shear. The zipper and other pieces of metal are made out of a silver material. The zipper and zipper track seem to be functioning well and the metal material seems very durable. The entire jacket feels extremely durable due to the high-quality of the material and fabrication. The hood is a perfect size to cover my whole head. The hood is removable so I am able to take it off for a different style. The appearance of the jacket looks classy and clean whether the hood is on or off. The length of the jacket covers my glutes, so I am pretty well protected against the rain. For reference, I am 5’3 and weigh 150 pounds. I ordered the size medium and it fits perfectly. The current price of $79.99 is a fair deal based on the quality and features. I stayed warm and dry all day with this product.

This review is for the Alpine Swiss Lorie Womens Rain Jacket Removable Hood Long Rain Coat Trench Coat WindbreakerThere is a lot to like about this jacket. The sturdy metal 2-way zipper; the slippery lining, the thigh-length; the removable hood; excellent stitching; and the binding on selvedge edges at seams. I like the 50% cotton material as it has a nice feel and drape. To make the jacket fully water-proof, you would likely need to treat the fabric.To determine which size to order, I compared the measurements in the listing to jackets/coats I already own. It came out as a large, my usual size. It fit fine in the chest and the sleeves were the right length. However, the sleeves were too tight as I could just fit a mid to lightweight sweater into the sleeve. So some movement was restricted. FYI, the side slits accommodate movement, but I'd prefer shorter slits to have better rain protection. Also there is no closures at the wrists. If it fits it makes a good city jacket.

I ordered this in an XL when a L would typically fit perfectly in this type of item so be thoughtful when ordering your proper size. I was quite impressed with how well made this rain jacket is as it is much thicker than I anticipated, has quality built zippers, the split on the sides make it easy to zip up and not have it tight around your buns, and the detachable hood is a big bonus. The ONLY critique I have of this jacket is the pockets, which I am happy to have but they are like too buckets right in front that if you put something in while it was raining it would likely get wet, a missed opportunity to have put the pockets with a side slash that you could actually use and they should have put the pockets that are on the outside on the inside as well so you could put your phone or wallet or whatever in there and it would stay safe and dry. Other than my issue with the pockets this is an exceptional jacket!

I feel this jacket has been a great find. While we unfortunately see more rain than usual, this jacket has been able to keep me dry and remain stylish. In truth, I feel this doesn’t really look like a bulky raincoat, and I like that. The design details make it fashionable. Finally, I like that you can wear it either loose for a more casual look or get a more defined shape by cinching the waist. I also like that the hood is removable, for when we have less rain but still want to stay warm. The fit of this jacket was perfect, though I feel the arms could’ve been even so slightly shorter (though, I won’t hold it against it, as I realize this is a purely personal preference). Other than that, it’s a perfect jacket!

I just got this Alpine Swiss Lorie rain jacket and it's pretty cute! It definitely looks stylish for a rain coat, not too bulky at all. It feels nice and seems like it'll actually keep me dry. I like that it's not just waterproof, but also comfy and breathable. The gold details are a nice touch, and the hood comes off, which is handy. You can wear it loose or cinch the waist, which I love. Plus, it's got pockets! Seems like a good all-around jacket for rainy days.
