Easy install make sure you buy correct adapters for the speaker terminals

Size was perfect fit..sound quality very poor. On a 45min drive, volume not even near maximum, they started crackling and popping with static distortion..did not enjoy these at all..

Im Waiting on the speaker pods, I plan on putting these in the A pillar, they look well built, I hooked them up to my home system and they sounded nice.Update:I used these in a 3 way set up with CDT M6+.I had to cut them at 800 Hz, the can't handle any bass at high volume.I have 80 watts going to these and some Infiniti Perfect tweeters @ a little over 5 ohms with the gain is at 50%.

These are a sleeper product. There were a number of reasons I almost DIDN'T buy these. Unfamiliarity with American Bass. Some of the specs. Fear of any audio product that puts an emphasis on "bass". And of course, how good can they be for this price? Luckily, because the front speakers on my antique Mercedes 500SEL are such a challenge to replace, I ordered them anyway. What a pleasant surprise!! Bass is there (as much as can be reasonably expected from a 3.5). However, the mids are crystal clear, and the tweeters are the nicest surprise of the whole package. I'm an audio engineer. I'm not into thumping, and my test of a speaker is vocal clarity and balance. I love these speakers in my application, and am very pleased with my first American Bass product experience. A huge upgrade from factory 3.5's, and an upgrade from many of the premium "aftermarket" speakers I have heard. Included wiring and spade connectors are appreciated. Sound is very satisfying. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars - the size and rise of the tweeter will cause installation problems for many using to replace factory speakers and use OEM grilles. I found a work-around, but tweeter could be smaller for this application.

best 3.5sq ive ever hade clear and as long as you tune your amp or stereo they are very loud in the front dash i would buy again i also run 4 6x9sq and 2 15 inch xfl's and 2 pair soundstream components in all 4 doors of my jeep very loud very loudclean sound american bass is good stuff.........
