Utiliza un destornillador de cabeza plana para una fácil instalación.

No intentes comprimir los puntales antes de instalar.
Consejo 3
Antes de instalar los amortiguadores de escotilla trasera, apuntala tu pesada escotilla trasera con una varilla o ayudante para mantenerte alejado de daños.
Consejo 4
Puede que haya un poco de rigidez cuando la escotilla trasera se amortigua por primera vez. Solo necesitas montar la escotilla trasera hacia arriba y hacia abajo un par de veces, se suavizará como OEM.

These were surprisingly easy to install and are working great. I was a little intimidated to try replacing my own but I’m glad I did. You should have 2 people to prevent whatever you lifting from falling and injuring the other person.

Bought for a 2013 outback. Great fit and easy install. Piston pressure is set great for lift assist. Has worked flawlessly for the last three weeks.

Fit my 2014 Subaru Outback perfectly.I swapped the left and the right and just matched my old ones and they’re doing great.

I read the previous comments about installing it the other way ( different from OEM). But it turns out to be wrong for my Gen 4 2013 Subaru Outback. It ended up scratching the base and will not support the lift gate. Re-installed it exactly the same way as OEM and it worked great. Strong support and slow but steady lift. Will see how it lasts.
