I pulled this ring out of the box, and it was bigger than I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing at all. It's well made, and man is that orange visible. We keep a throw ring on our deck next to the above ground pool and I can tell you there is no way anyone will miss finding this ring in an emergency. It floats great and it's easy to grab on.

We used to have a great big boat, and it came with a smaller throw ring than this. We sold the boat about ten years ago, but we kept the throw ring with our boat name on it, and it finally fell apart a year or two ago. So we needed one for our pontoon boat, which is our speed of boat these days. This is a GREAT throw ring— it’s big enough I’ll be using it to sit in comfortably just to hang out in the water. The solid ring on the boat end of it is smart, and the long bright orange line is great for visibility. We’ve always called it the “flingie thingie”, and I’m thrilled to have a substantial well made flingie thingie that will probably outlast our boating days.
