Used in the pool for my 2 year old this summer. She weighed less than 25 pounds so not a lot of options. She did very well with it and had a lot of fun. She had room in it and I'd say she could wear it for another year as well. We found it easy to use and very durable holding up to a 2 year old well.

This works for our 3 year old. The puddle jumpers tend to lean him forward in the pool and he hasn’t quite mastered the balance yet. This gives him the confidence to play all day with us in the pool.

I've used different kinds of floaters for my kids ( 3yrs old and 1 yr old). This is the best one I found. They hated the bigger floaters it looked like a ride/ animal. And I was deathly scared of them trying to wiggle out of it and then drown when I'm not looking..with this, they're able to move around independently and really didn't want me them as much!. It's also easy to store and less bulkyI think the only 2 cons Is that if you don't secure the nozzle well, it will deflate. The other con is, they can flip over if the kid leans forward too much but other than that I'd still prefer this product over the other floaters

I love all of SwimSchool’s products! My son has used their floaties since he was about 24 lbs. We have one of their life jackets, which fits very similarly to this one. The difference with this is the removable pads, which I’ll be leaving in until he’s more confident in the water (still looking for swim lessons). For reference: he’s 3, weighs 36 lbs, and wears mostly 3T & some 4T tops. This fits him well with room to grow. It might be too big if your kiddo is wearing 2T or smaller.I’ll probably put him in his life jacket most of the time, but this will come in handy as he learns to swim better.UPDATE: I never even realized this until he pointed it out…. The back is a turtle shell! He likes to pretend he’s a sea turtle when it’s on. One thing I’ve noticed (with a lot of life jacket style vests) is that it rises up to his chin as he wears it in the water. It *looks* uncomfortable, but he hasn’t complained at all! I’ve tightened all the straps, including the crotch safety strap. He’s autistic and has sensory issues, so the fact he loves wearing it is awesome!!Hope this helps! 🏊🏼♂️
