This tape wraps and sticks strong. Great feel to it, too. I've wrapped it aroung tool and knife handles and it offers a compfortable grip. Eventually with time and use, it'll wear off or start coming off and that's why we have such a big roll to re-wrap that hammer handle.

I used this tape on my 2019 FORD gt mustang, its pretty much the same type of cotton cloth tape that auto makers use to wrap up wires on vehicles , i like my mustang to look perfect, i used this hockey tape to go over areas in the engine bay that the auto maker left some wires exposed close to the plug-ins and other areas, DONT USE ELECTRICAL TAPE , that makes a mess down the road , it gets dry rotted and leaves a sticky mess , this cotton cloth hockey tape does the job better and looks just like whats there and in my case made it look better, try it yourself and you wont be disappointed,

Es una buena cinta, no estaba ceca ni flácida y su adherencia fue buena al stick.

Good grip tape for slick fixed blade knife handle scales, but it could be a bit grippier. Adheres well, stays in place, and provides additional grip support for your knife when doing heavier tasks such as chopping and batoning. Ideally, I am looking for grippiness somewhere between this tape and skateboard tape. Wiil try another brand in the future, but for now I am pretty happy with the A&R Hockey tape.

Been a while since I used this kind of tape and it definitely benefits you to have a scissor to get a clean edge, rather than tearing it. I used it to put a grip on a Cold Steel Bushman - one wind from blade end to hilt and then another wind back down to the ricasso - much better than bare steel. I started out with a paracord wrap, but it was slipping, since the bushman has a tapered handle, so I taped it and liked the feel of the tape better than the cord. Don't be fooled that it isn't like putting on gorilla tape - the adhesive isn't that sticky. It's best to hold the free end down until you capture it with the first wrap, and then you're good to go.
