I originally purchased this for diamond painting but I now use it exclusively when cross-stitching on 25 count fabric. The magnifier comes with both a metal stand as well as a table clamp. The clamp is strong and easy to tighten onto the edge of a table, or in my case, my embroidery stand. The light has several brightness settings as well as settings to change the colour temperature. I found the first "warm" level to be the most comfortable for my eyes.The viewable magnified area is only in the centre of the glass, so it can take a bit of shifting to make sure that my project is in focus, but it's not too bad. It would have been nice if the whole glass area was useable though. The magnifier is attached to a gooseneck arm which is nice and flexible, and feels sturdy. I do wish that it was a bit longer as it feels a bit short. This product is well made, and despite a few niggles, I would happily recommend this.

Estaba muy emocionada con esta lámpara pero me llegó rota. Apenas la saque de la caja inmediatamente la lupa estaba colgando del cable. La tengo que devolver

I bought this for diamond painting because some times the numbers, letters or symbols are very hard to see. Even though i use a lighted board underneath what I am working on, I still need to see it bigger to make sure i am using the correct color drill. That is where this magnifying glass comes in verry handy. All I do is clip it onto the edge of the table and then I move the gooseneck into the area I am working on. It makes everything so much easier. While the weight of this is a bit heavy it adjust easily and the light is nice and bright. I usually leave it in the same spot so as to not have to keep cleaning up an area that I am just coming back to. I just fold down the goose neck so its not sticking up or out and there has never been an issue or problem of having it in the way. The light’s clip that adheres to the desk is very strong and holds well yet doesn’t scratch or ruin your furnishings.

This is very good value, and an exceptionally well designed product. Base is heavy and flat so it doesn't get in the way. I use it as work area. Different light colours. Magnifying glass is sharp. It's good to see well designed products, reasonably priced, and delivering on the promise. Highly recommended.

It's the best tool I look forward to using it each time when the things or items I need to work. Ideally, on a work desk whereby it's there whenever you need it.
