I would not recommend purchasing this for a 2012 Kia Optima 2.4l . We needed to replace this part after an accident. The issue we had was it just isn't a perfect fit. Everything is a hair bigger in this one compared to the one that is factory installed. Also the clip that seemingly has no purpose for my car was in the way so it had to be bent away from it. It worked long enough to get us to the local part store but before we made it home it was dripping a little oil. Everything is just a little off and we couldn't get a proper seal. We replaced this with OEM and that worked perfectly. I would recommend any of the other oil coolers on Amazon for your car but to save yourself time and frustration don't buy this one for a 2012 Kia Optima 2.4l. It just doesn't fit right.

excellent quality when I took it in my hands I could notice that it is heavier than the previous one which was damaged and began to mix water and oil I placed this oil cooler and I feel more confident that what happened before will not happen again I recommend it It feels of very good quality and its posture is perfect
