I used these to secure a large door on my shed. One goes into the top header and one down into the concrete. These are nice heavy metal and sturdy, not flimsy. Very nice quality finish. I don't expect that they will rust or tarnish although I've had them for only a short time. Would definitely buy these again, in fact I did buy them again and it turns out I didn't need them for this project but I'm keeping them because I know I'll use them when the need arises.

Used this spring latch on my home patio door.....secured to the upper portion of sliding glass door. Drilled a hole into header frame above. Ten minutes of tool time. Works pretty awesome as a back-up lock to patio door security bar.Great quality of product.
