Haven't had for very long but this battery seems to be of good quality. Works exactly as you would hope. Is compatible with the Ryobi chargers with no issues. I'll update if my opinion changes but I think this is going to end up being a great option that gives a little bit more run time with a little bit of savings when compared to Ryobi's 4ah.

I have 20+ Ryobi tools that Is use constantly and therefore have purchase many batteries over the years. This Clear18-Volt 5000mAh High Capacity Replacement Batteries, 18V Battery 5.0Ah, fit my tools perfectly. Easy to install and even better, the easiest I have ever had to remove when ready for recharging.Unlike the "Ferryboat" brand batteries I received me a few months ago that kept lossing contact during uses, where hard to remove from the chargers and tools unless they unwantedly fell out of the power tools onto the floor at inopportune times.

I've only used this for maybe 30 minutes of actual on-time, but that's in a recip saw under heavy load that I surely don't expect to last 5 hours. It went down to 2 bars from 3 in the last 2 minutes. I would have expected much more drain for my OEM's 4Ah battery for the same usage.None of these aftermarket batteries seem to fully support the OEM charger. The meter on your battery will not show what level your battery is charged to, only by a manual button press on the battery.,. Otherwise the green light on the charger will blink when the battery is charging and will be solid green when it's fully charged.The clear housing is interesting if you're not a power tool fashionista - It will "clash" with the rest of your yellow tool ;-) The clear housing does kinda make it hard to tell the battery level LED's due to the bleeding/spread of the light through the clear casing. OTOH, the casing does make it easy to see if you have a leaking, swelling, or scorched cell or other component before you turn on your device and possibly hose it due to a short in the battery pack.

Good battery life and seems good quality. However I'm disappointed in the battery used there pictured as blue cells but I got pink.
