Great quality for the cost in my opinion and extremely easy to use. Efficiency is top notch as it lets our customers at our winery have a frosty mug with their beer or cider. Not noisy and simple to secure. No problems and doesn’t bog down despite a lot of use. Easy to hook up to tank and also to no trouble to keep clean. Well worth the expenditure. Not too heavy, but extremely tough! Also has a thick, rugged wire. Should last us for years if maintained properly. A well crafted machine! Frosts an average size glass in seconds!

Bought this for my best friend for his birthday. He was pretty excited as he'd been wanting frosted beer mugs for a while but couldn't easily find the freezer space. We set it up in just a few minutes and there was almost nothing to it: you just thread the gas guard dome onto it, put in the batteries, lock it down to the edge of the counter, and connect the CO2 tank, which can be tightened with a little bracket on the hose that acts as a "wrench", but just FYI don't use a real wrench and don't go crazy tightening it as it's not needed and excessive force could damage the threading. We tried it out and it works fine, but the volume of CO2 gas coming out was pretty conservative. To really chill a glass you need to blast it for a solid 10-12 seconds with the volume that came out, which didn't look nearly as voluminous as in the videos I've seen. It would be nice if the device had some kind of dial you could use to adjust the volume. Also, remember to push the glass right up under the dome so that the CO2 fills the glass; I noticed that people have a tendency to hold the glass back a ways, but the gas spreads out and dissipates quickly so to be effective you want the glass right under the nozzle.I gave him a 10lb tank which cost me ~$20 to fill, but if I was doing it over I would probably go with a 20lb tank instead since it's clear that you'll go through more gas than stated by the manufacturer. That's not the end of the world since refills are relatively cheap, but if you're thinking of getting this I would err on the higher capacity side of things or even keep a couple of tanks around so you don't run out during a party or whatever. Just remember to get tanks that have a siphon in them, which is just a tube that goes down to the bottom of the tank and draws from the liquid CO2 there instead of the gas that collects ta the top of the tank.In the end though it did work as advertised and nicely chilled a variety of glasses, even if it did take a few more seconds to do so, and more importantly my friend seemed really happy with the gift which made it worth while. I would definitely say it's a nice addition if you've got a home bar setup and want a little something to entertain and act as a conversation starter.

Very affordable to maintain and useful for chilling and sanitizing glassware for drinks. Avoids having a glass chilling fridge or having to go through a lot of ice to chill the glassware. Half-cylinder handle cover allows you to chill the glass without getting CO2 freezer burn or dry-ice blowback. Very quick chilling, highly recommend! Customer service is also very responsive and helpful.
