Much of what I do at my desk involves small, highly detailed work. As I’ve gotten older and my vision isn’t quite what it used to be, some of these tasks have become more painstaking. While magnifying glasses are a great help, I find that I also benefit from more light. With that in mind, I ordered this nice little lamp to sit on the corner of my desk and to brighten things up when I need it.The lamp arrives very securely packed in styrofoam and can be assembled in less than five minutes. I should note that the small socket screw that is included in the set (in the bag with the Allen wrench) is an extra and not required for putting the lamp together - the same screw is already in place on the lamp’s stem for use in attaching the head.I must admit that I have always loved the styling of bankers lamps; while this lamp employs a white shade as opposed to the more traditional green or cream coloured ones, it does a nice job of emulating the stylish appearance one expects of this type of lamp. The lamp is quite heavy, a necessity given the weight of the shade and the fact that you must pull on the draw cord to turn the lamp on. Unlike the traditional style, the shade is not offset backwards which results in the lamp wanting to tip slightly forwards when the draw cord is pulled.The plastic shade does an excellent job of emulating the look of glass while the simple, straight lines of the design give the piece an up to date modern look. The shade is fully rotatable to any position you wish. The USB and USB-C ports on the base of the lamp are well positioned and a practical addition to the old school look. As one would expect, the beaded pull chain allows the lamp to be turned on or off; the brightness of the unit cannot be adjusted. I was happy to see that the required T45 bulb was included in the package.This lamp looks perfect on my desk and, while not exceedingly bright, provides the extra light that I was looking for. The blend of mid century old school design with modern, minimalistic lines and features make this a piece that would work well with almost any decor. I love it! Highly recommended.

This is a good quality vintage desk lamp. It has a classic vintage and upscale look. It's a great addition to any office space and add some vintage ambiance. The light is bright, but the shade diffuses the light so it's not too harsh. I like that a lightbulb was included. The materials are good- quality, sturdy, and strong. Overall, it does exactly what it says it does and it's a good product.

This police car was built very durable and my son enjoyed playing with it. It reminds me of an old school police car.
