Superb. I have this hooked up in parallel with the Behringer FX2000 Effects Processor and the two working together with a Yamaha R-S700 receiver driving two Polk Audio TSi300 towers and two old 80 watt Pioneer floor speakers is incredible. Since the 1980s, I have always run four speakers with a graphic equalizer and can't seem to live without one. This unit features fully adjustable high and low frequency cut as well as an adjustable input select, not just on and off, which makes an incredible difference in sound quality, which is notably different between sources. As an older guy with an extensive vinyl and cassette collection, the ability to to precisely control frequency response depending on the source makes an amazing difference. Not surprisingly, slight slider adjustments make a big difference in frequency response given their limited travel, which is easy to forget at times so be careful about that if your overall sound quality seems to deteriorate. For what I use it for, it works great and does everything I need for it to do and at a affordable price and I highly recommend one if you're looking to use one with a home stereo. The unit runs a little warm, so if it's enclosed in a cabinet I would recommend a good low noise cooling fan.

I saw in several places that this unit wasn't recommended for home stereo, however, I bought it to add a crossover and dedicated sub jack to my vintage stereo. Yes, you can introduce hum and noise into your system by going the way of (1) putting too much gain into the output (2)running signal wires and power wires together (3) using improper adapters and unshielded cables.I use this for room correction in a overly live room, therefore I'm cutting more channels than boosting them. It worked perfectly for dialing in my system with no problems. I really like that I have more control over the frequency's on a wider scale than most home units (if you can find them at all).In my opinion, this is a great equalizer for home use IF you understand proper cable routing, use shielded rca interconnects, xlr to rca adapters, along with not using the gain for a volume control, there is no reason anyone can't use this in a home system.

Excellent produit. Je l'utilise avec mon système de son entre mon lecteur cd et l'ampli. Les contrôles sont simples et efficaces. Aucun bruit de fond, seulement ce que l'on souhaite clair et net. Je regrette qu'il n'y ait qu'une seule entrée audio.
