This VGA Adapter works great and it was very easy to install the drivers. I'm so glad it worked as my old monitor. The only thing that doesn't work when this VGA adapter is plugged in and I'm using the big monitor to Skype, is the sound, the camera works fine but the sound is so distorted that they can't understand a word I'm saying. So I have to turn off my big monitor completely and use the laptop camera for Skype, then the sound comes out clear. At least the big monitor works for everything else, which makes it easier on my eyes.

J'ai fait l'acquisition de cet adaptateur il y a 2 jours, et jusque là, il fait très bien son travail. J'ai eu un apriori négatif au départ pour 2 raisons :- La présence d'un CD de driver : je me suis dis qu'avec mon PC portable, cela allait devenir compliqué car il y a de moins en moins de lecteur CD/DVD sur les PC en générale et plus du tout sur les PC portables.- J'avais déjà acheté un adaptateur sur Amazon, d'une autre marque. Mais celui-ci était de très mauvaise qualité. Et ne marchais pas.Ceci dit, ces deux points se sont très vite fait désarmés. En effet, lors du branchement de l'adaptateur, pas besoin d'attendre, l'affichage des drivers s'est fait directement, j'ai pu les exécuter, et au redémarrage cela marchait. Ensuite, cet adaptateur MARCHE !En effet, cet adaptateur fait son travail très bien (en tout cas au début). Et je suis plutôt surpris.Ensuite, en ces temps de canicules, je pensais que l'adaptateur (qui est utilisé tout le temps) aurait chauffé. Et c'est le cas, il chauffe, mais franchement, c'est pas non plus un chauffage ambulant. Lorsque j'éteins et rallume mon pc ou que je le met en veille et le ressors, je n'ai pas de bug non plus, mis à part une certaine lenteur mais je ne sais pas si c'est à cause de la clé.Je précise que lorsque j'utilise cet adaptateur, je l'utilise en parallèle avec le port HMDI pour un autre écran. Et cela marche très bien. (donc l'écran du pc portable en écran principale, un écran en HDMI, et un autre avec l'adaptateur)Point non "négligeable" : on ressent cependant une certaine "latence", elle est vraiment minime mais elle pourrait vous déranger si vous faites des jeux qui ont besoin que vous aillez un temps de réaction au plus bas, je précise que ce temps de réaction semble être seulement sur la souris, donc je ne sais pas encore si c'est la mienne qui fait cela ou si c'est tout le temps comme ça (je répète, c'est assez faible, c'est bien moins qu'une seconde de latence, mais c'est plus élevé que le temps de réaction sur l'écran du pc portable directement, ou un écran relié en HDMI sans adaptateur). Ceci dit, pour d'autres tâches, cela marche très bien.Ce commentaire est rédigé quelques jours après l'acquisition de cet adaptateur, il pourra changé si par exemple, l'adaptateur fatigue et devient de moins en moins utilisable dans le futur.En attendant, c'est un bon produit.

Ha sido una buena experiencia, compré uno a la miad de precio y no funcionó bien, este ha funcionado muy bien!! Recomendable!!

The item works perfectly! Just note you need to install the drivers from the cd (which is also included in the packaging) before the device works. takes less than a minute to install. No quality loss on the 2nd monitor, so you won't be disappointed.

First of all the important bit.. yes it works when I connected USB3.0HDMi and also USB3.0HDMItoDVIadapterDVI. The picture resolution is full HD and perfect quality. I have actually got 3x monitors so 2 of them are on the card (Dsub, DVI) and this third monitor is on USB3.0. Everything was working fine and I was thinking about leaving a 5 star review because there are very few products of this class which actually works... But... here comes the but... I have connected it to my Desktop/Server system where I do lot of work including work on virtual machines so I do not turn off my PC for weeks even months because I don't want to waste time spinning up all VMs and opening all docs and browser pages etc. I normally send it to sleep before going to bed or the PC automatically goes to sleep/hibernate after 2 hours or so... after the installation of this adapter I went away for few hours and when I came back all my monitors were blank and PC was on. No matter what I tried the PC didn't come to life until I did a hard reboot and it all came back with a clean slate. So all work was gone! I then tried to manually hibernate it from start>shutdown>sleep and it went well, all monitors went to sleep but within 2 mins PC restarted! I tried different combination of cables, even shutdown power saving for USB port but it will restart every time if I put it in sleep mode (manually) or it will just hang if system goes to sleep after set duration. As soon as I removed the box the sleep functionality started working as normal. So, for some very odd reason, this box does not work for SLEEP/HIBERNATE mode. If you are a person like myself who does not want to turn off his PC then just consider above issue otherwise the device is fine.= = =I have had a detailed discussion about this issue with Benfei customer services and they have been very helpful in determining the issue and sending me another product to test. The new item they sent did work well with no issues at all (on Windows 10) so I think the previous item may have some issues which was causing the problem. Based on their response and excellent customer services I am elevating the rating from 3 to 5.
