I still can't believe the dealership quote to replace this part is $1400+. For a $13 retaining clip! Replacing this is a little involved, but can be done if a person knows the difference between pliers, wrench, and ratchet. Jackstands or a lift is needed, but even then a person can buy all the necessary tools and still come out ahead.This brake cable retaining clip replaces the original one without modification. It fits perfect. I give it 4-stars because it does not improve on the original part. It's plastic like the original. That means that it will probably need to be replaced again in another 5-8 years.
