Although my Amazon sealed bubble bag was empty when it came, Amazon's AI was very helpful to remedy and another one was actually delivered the following day. So am keeping this at 5 stars.I really like that you can use it with a remote, and was able to do that from my kitchen window.I was looking for something for my patio string lights that would turn on at dusk and off a few hours later. This was a perfect fit and I can alter that schedule as my needs change.The quality feels good and feel like I don't have to worry about weather, although it is partially sheltered.The plug is very short - in fact too short for me to put on a hook, seeing that my outdoor outlet is situated on the brick, and could almost reach the wood edge of the trellis it borders, but not quite. So it dangles down and I worried that it would be too dark in the corner, that it would turn on long before dusk. But it doesn't! Comes right on at dusk!I have played around with the timer via the remote at my window, and it is reliable.I would recommend this brand.

This controller’s short permanently attached wired extension with a straight plug reaches easily into covered outdoor outlets. A right-angled plug would not.Three angled outlets allow large Christmas light power supplies to fit so you don’t need a cube tap.Control locally or with the remote fob.2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-hr dusk on, auto off. Or on/off. Or on at dusk, off at dawn. Easy, lit display.The remote works well, but its markings cannot be seen in the dark. I made my own readable labels.Will store the controller, remote, and its instructions in a gallon ziplock bag for next year so I don’t lose the remote.

Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the battery in the remote control was dead on arrival. It worked fine after replacing the battery.

This 3 prong extension appears very well crafted and of high quality. It is as easy to use as sponsored. (Well that is once you figure out the problem you are having is you. I spent 10 minutes trying to pair the plug and remote - until I realized 😳 I installed the battery with the shrink wrap plastic still on it!!! 😆 🤣 Go ahead make fun. I had a good 👍 laugh).In short great product. Great quality. Works easily and as promised. I highly recommend.

1.- El producto parecía haber pasado ya por una devolución. El control remoto parecía haber sido usado con anterioridad, tenía rasguños.2.- Lo más importante, es que el sensor no funcionaba. Al configurarlo para que funcionara del atardecer al amanecer, el sensor no funcionó. Al desaparecer la luz natural, nunca hizo su función. Probé tapando al sensor y tampoco funcionó. Lo tuve que devolver. Es una lástima.
