Consejos:

I have a fountain that I needed a pump for, but the fountain itself has a weird footprint/shape that makes other fountains with a side exhaust or side inlet not work very well (if at all). I figured a sump pump would be worth a try, since it pulls from the bottom. First off, it's worlds quieter than all the other pumps I tried, which counts for something, and it seems to work pretty darn well. Another feature I like is the threaded outlet. Part of the problem with the "aquarium pumps" I've been using was that they're either not powerful enough to run the fountain, or they keep blowing off the tube. This seems to strike the balance pretty decently between power and quiet. I probably could have benefitted from slightly higher GPH output, but that's more because of the size of the fountain. We'll see how it holds up after longer term use, but so far so good.

I am very impressed with the power of this sump pump. Sucked up the water and pumped it out of our pool very fast. Instead of just opening the drain hole, I got this pump and hooked it up to my garden hose, plugged it in and set it down in the pool....WOOOOSH....out went the water WAY faster than gravity. It saved me a lot of time.It's not flashy looking but it is solid! At 1/3 horsepower it's stronger than the smaller 1/4 horse ones.I am very happy with this sump pump and I think you will be too!

In full disclosure I thought this was going to be an actual full-time sump pump for my basement, replacing one that failed recently when torrential rains flooded the basement. And because of this I was somewhat upset that the discharge line was much smaller than I had anticipated, and I had spent three days trying to find a bushing to adapt to our 1-1/2" discharge line out to the yard.All that aside, when I DID get that worked out the pump did a fine job and removed the water quickly even though it is only a 1/3rd hp machine. I am going to replace it with a permanent pump shortly, but I can say it is effective and would make a good emergency pump to have on hand for future flooding issues.Recommended

When we had to drain our pool, I was pretty miffed that the pool wouldn’t drain all the way. My pool still had a good 6 inches of water on the bottom that I could not get drained out. When I saw this on my Vine, I thought it might do the trick to finish it off. I immediately put it to work and got my pool drained the rest of the way down so I could put it away for the winter. Now, I have a way to drain my pool all the way down when I need to do so for repairs or to store it for the season.I am sure you will find this to be a suitable pump for your needs as well. Just make sure you have a good kink-resistant hose to use with it. The one I used was a real bear to keep fluid going through it!

This is a decent pump. Replaced one that went bad from one of the big box stores that i paid 50% more than this one. Does the exact same job and actually is a little narrower so it fits better in the pit. No telling how long it will last but been good through the last couple of storms. Overall, good product at a great price.
