If you are in any kind of business where you need to count individual items delivered in bulk, this is great. Sure, you can do it by hand with a calculator or pen and paper, but why? This is lightning fast.Place one, set the wight, place the rest, and get your count! And you can use it as a regular scale. Great for businesses!

I am a type one diabetic. I mean to weigh some of my food items to be able to account for the proper carbohydrate amounts. I have had my current home scale for many years, and it was time for a replacement and upgrade. This specific scale may be a little overkill for my uses of weighing my food and shipping packages from time to time. However, it is nice to have all of the extra options. Scale must be plugged into a wall outlet and does not have a battery power. You can purchase a battery for around $15 on Amazon that that fits into this scale and recharges through it. I checked the accuracy of the scale against my prior scale, and everything seems to be as accurate as I expected it to be. I foresee his scale lasting me many years to come. For all of the options and the quality of the device that you are receiving the price point I would say is about fair.

I needed a scale sensitive enough to measure very low weights and this does the trick. As you can see, my first 2 tests were a sheet of bubble wrap and a twisty tie. Now you know how much those weigh. This is a nice looking unit that's easy to use right out of the box and I had it measuring random weights within a minute of plugging it in. I haven't yet figured out how to change the measurement to imperial. For the one I received, it was somewhat finicky about the power plug. I had to push it in very hard to get it to have stable power. I hope that doesn't mean it's defective. One star off in case that becomes a problem down the road.

Very precise. Although the shell is mostly plastic, it's well made.Legs are adjustable and on the front left corner there is a Level bubble.It has an RS-232 interface. The USB adapter that comes with it emulates a keyboard, so it sends the values after each zero to weight.It's a counting balance because one can program the weight of the sample unit and counts how many samples is weighting.One drawback is that it's not the most intuitive: It's fine once one learns how to use it, but not every function is labeled correctly: For example, to change the weight scale (g, Kg, lb, oz, etc), one holds the 'M+ Clear' successively until reaching the desired scale.The programming modes are barely documented at all. The printed documentation is not at all detailed.The company that manufactures this doesn't have a strong internet presence. There is an email address to contact support if needed.The screen is large and easy to read.Power supply is built-in with an IEC C13 connector. It comes with an US power cable as well.The scale does not come with a battery but it does support a sealed lead-acid type of battery (as in for a small UPS).The weighting tray is removable: It's a plastic piece with a polished metal plate on top, which is removable.The studs where the weighting plate meets the scale are metal.Overall, very affordable and useful industrial scale. I just with it was documented better.I didn't measure the accuracy of the factory calibration, but regardless it can be re-calibrated. I just don't have the exact weights to do so.
