El brazo ajustable hace una gran luz de lectura para un sofá: Coloca la luz del Brightech Ava detrás de un sofá o sillón para leer, tejer, hacer punto de cruz y otros pasatiempos. La lámpara Ava permite ajustar la altura de esta lámpara hasta un máximo de 1,5 m de altura. El brazo tiene un alcance exterior de aproximadamente 1 pies desde el poste y la bisagra ajustable permite que la pantalla se coloque a cualquier altura entre 45 y 61 pulgadas desde el suelo.

Bombilla LED blanca cálida brillante de 20 años incluida: Esta lámpara Brightech incluye una bombilla LED (two/tres) con una duración de 20.000 horas, que funciona con una vida útil de 20 años con un uso normal (aproximadamente 3 horas/día). Nunca tienes que reemplazar una bombilla y ahorrar un 90% en tu factura eléctrica en comparación con las bombillas incandescentes, porque el LED no pierde mucha energía al producir calor. Esto también evita quemaduras accidentales si tocas la luz.

Es una lampara muy linda y fácil de armar por lo cual ni necesitas ver las instrucciones ya que es bastante intuitiva. La cubierta para el foco hace que la iluminación le dé un toque como mas lounge a la zona donde pienses posicionarla. En lo personal es lo que yo buscaba ya que quería seguir manteniendo un look minimalista a la decoración de mi apartamento. Como único detalle negativo quizá pondría que los bordes de velcro de la lampara fueran mas fuertes, ojo solo es de la parte superior e inferior, aunque la verdad es mínimo, si se mantiene bastante fijo , pero al final excelente lampara de piso.

UPDATE: While the lamp still looks great, it has lost all of the tension and is too top heavy at the shade, no matter how much we try to tighten it, so rather than sit upright like the picture in the ad shows, it falls super low and just looks awkward.We are so happy with this purchase! I was hesitant to buy a lamp through Amazon, but wasn’t happy with the selection at places like Target, so this seemed like a good option for the price point. It looks great in person, much higher end than expected. Kudos to the reviewers who posted their own photos for reference! We have a very adventurous and destructive toddler (hence why we needed a new lamp), and she has yet to take this one down (fingers crossed). Assembly was a breeze, I didn’t even read the instructions. It’s just a tad larger than I envisioned, but really not a big deal. My only wish is that the bottom of the lampshade were covered (sort of like a drum I guess?). Only because if this is placed over a couch or seated area it can be a bit bright for whoever is sitting under. Again, not a big deal! Great buy, highly recommend!

This lamp is sturdy and attractive, but the instructions do not include on/off switch information, or a picture showing how the power is switched on. The “switch” is actually a “tap with your foot” type, (located on the lower end of the power cord) which I don’t think is practical for a floor lamp. Generally, if your sitting down and want to reach over and turn on the light, you cannot do that easily. You need to stand up, and get to the the power cord on the floor in order to depress the on/off switch. Is it a great lamp of good quality? Yes. Would I purchase again? No, but only because the location of the power switch is so impractical.

I LOVE this lamp. It was extremely easy to assemble, fun, actually, with clear, written instructions. Took about 10 minutes, most of which was spent unpacking it. The packaging was awesome, secure and protective, I actually really appreciated that.Once put together, the lamp is gorgeous, I love the slightly industrial look. It gives decent, nicely filtered light and once tightened into position, it stays.The base is really heavy, feels sturdy, not at all wobbly or off balance. I like the foot switch, very easy. I'm actually thinking I might buy another...not sure where I'll put it, but it's such a great lamp and so reasonably priced, I might keep it til Christmas and give it to my DIL. A great purchase I'm delighted to have made..

Thoroughly pleased with this. I think it is the best design of the Britech lamps, at least the ones at reasonable prices.It's not tiny, it's very well mechanically designed, and with a 1600 lumen 5000k daylight Feit bulb, very nicely lights up a desk and room.Something that's particularly nice is the relation between the large shade and the bulb - so you are not blinded by the bulb showing frotm walking or sitting nearby. The shade also diffuses and reflects the LED bulb so its coverage is improved below, a problem with these bulbs well addressed.I saw one person thought the moving arm wouldn't hold position, but if you adequately tighten, helped by the lever arm on the clamp, it holds fine -- and allows gentle, smooth adjustment without undoing the clamp. There's naturally a little 'settling in', so after a few weeks, you can tighten once more, if you notice the arm wanting to move.The wrap and velcro shade assembles easily, and works very well at this size, is attractive. The secret to assembly is to pull, stretch out each section once you have the clips on the rims, working around until you get to the ends again. Then the velcro will be in just the right place to match and be pressed together. Then you have a finish that looks as good as the pictures, and lasts.

I needed a floor lamp next to my recliner, but wasn't 'feeling' most of the ones that I found. They either were waaay too expensive for my tastes or were too hip (industrial vibe) for me.After much looking in various brick and mortar lamp stores, I stumbled upon this design at AMZ. Not your run-of-the-mill design. This design allows me the ability to adjust (and re-adjust) its proximity relative to my needs. Unlike fixed position traditional floor lamps, this allowed me to find my own 'sweet-spot' that was just right.Previous reviews were spot on. High quality materials/construction, easy as all get-out to assemble and no special tools or missing screws to worry about. Bonus points for whoever designed the lamp shade: easy to assemble with no instructions required.I replaced the included LED light bulb with a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb (17W/A19/1600 Lumen/5K bright white light) as I prefer a bright light for reading. Softer light (3K soft lights) elsewhere in the room balances out the light in the room.Time will tell how well the foot-switch mechanism holds up, but so far, I like. Highly recommend: quality at a great price-point with extra points for style!
