It functioned for my signal needs. But That wire is quite stiff and coils up easily. It DOES take solder. That's a plus worth knowing

This is a spool of 120 feet of 6-conductor, 24 AWG alarm cable that ticks all of my boxes for quality cable:- It's CL2R fire rated for riser use- In addition to the six conductors, you also get a bare wire in the bundle- The bundle is fully shielded- The wire is full copper, not "copper clad aluminum", a much inferior construction that's very common in cheap alarm cableThis is definitely not cheap, and 120 feet will be gone before you know it - I wish this was 250 or 500 feet. But if you need this many conductors and don't want the bulk of 8-conductor wire, this is an excellent option.
