These are really helpful when building a cinema rig. These were machined well, and haven't given me any problems.

Welcome to the Wild West of modern photo and video, where the explosion of lighting, cages, arms, supports, heads, monitors, mics, stands & mono-bi-tri-pods, drones, battery mounts, gimbals, plates, mounts, and a zillion other accessories try to interconnect with only the barest attention to any standardization. You can't count on any of them reliably coming with a certain size or type of connector, whether male/female, thread specification, locking/rotation provisions, retention, length or clearance, material, or anything else for that matter.So ... be thankful that devices in the mass consumer market at least TEND toward 1/4" and 3/8" UNC machine screws. For these devices, having a handful of certain adapters is a lifesaver. This little 3-pack of Camvate adapters address part of the need by providing male-male combinations in these threadings. Fortunately, those seem to be the type I need most, because as you start considering ALL the possibilities including male-male, male-female, female-female, in yet more threads (metric anyone?) and additional functionality, it gets crazy-making rather quickly.Anyway, the Camvate adapters are stainless steel (my preference), good enough quality, and are in a widely useful configuration, having a knurled, centered, fixed thumbwheel. Threads could be cut cleaner, but I haven't had any problems with them with anything I own yet.Pricing? Maybe a bit high for 3 simple adapters, but I'll probably buy a few more anyway. It's just not worth the hunt for something nominally better to save a dollar or two when I know these will work to connect my Smallrig to Ulanzi to Manfrotto to DJI to AndyCine to ...
