Slipped right onto the seat pedestal and the seat slipped right over it. You can see my old bushing on the pedestal below the new one in the first photo and in the second photo below the seat base held on with a hose clamp to try and keep the new one up inside the seat base to last as long as possible. This is a design issue in my opinion and not an issue with the bushing. The seat sits on the lip of the bushing and the pressure and turning of the chair on the pedestal just chews the lip off and it falls down. Give it a try on yours and the bushing will last much longer.

I added an extra boat seat to my boat some years ago. My had an Atwood pedestal, the 238 series for the post. But I wanted a base that would mount to the bottom of the seat that had a locking mechanism to allow the boat seat to swivel at all times. I ordered one that wasn't in Atwood, but it looked like it would fit. I have struggled with it ever since. I ordered this, hoping it would be a good size bushing for it, but it was not either. I'm not sure what this is supposed to fit. Probably the Atwood 238 series. I think it would be a good insert if it fits your needs, but it just didn't work for me.
