I have honestly had beach towels thicker than these. They're about as thick as maybe 2 paper towels. Also, if you're trying to towel off the fabric won't run down your skin because it sticks like a microfiber cloth. Very uncomfortable and poor quality. I'm still searching for a better towel.

Terrible quality. Thin, flimsy, and odd shaped. Hoped they would be better after washed but worse.

This set of microfiber towels and washcloths features 2 oversized bath towels, two large sized hand towels and 4 washcloths. This was our first time trying out microfiber bathroom towels and if you're used to regular cotton towels, these definitely have a different feel. The nature of the finer strands used to make the microfiber terry cloth makes these very lightweight for their size but super absorbent. They almost have a "sticky" feel to them when drying off which requires you to dab more than drag. This might be a preference thing but it definitely changes the way you dry off if you're used to cotton towels. The weight for these is listed as 600GSM (gms/sq-meter) which is on the mid range weight for your average bath towel but they still feel very light being 70" x 35". All of the towels and wash cloths include a hanging loop which is a handy feature to have. The durability of these towels is yet to be seen but special care does need to be taken when washing them. Cold water machine wash on a gentle cycle is listed on the labels with tumble dry on low. There is definitely something to be said about the size and weight of a bath towel when it comes to comfort and feel. I feel like these have the absorbency of a heavier cotton towel but without the extra weight. The jury is still out on whether or not we prefer the feel of the microfiber fabric but at the current price of $38.99 for the set, they are priced well so I'll give these 4 stars

I ordered this 8 Piece Set of Bath Towels for my Mother. They arrived well-packaged. She loves the Color and Absorbency but says that these Towels are quite thin and feel like Throws. They don’t slide smoothly on the Skin as do her old Towels. She also complained that these Towels shed a lot of furry Pieces of the Material and had to be washed.
