Not that I have walked a great deal since I received these boots; just around my yard a tad. What I can say is they seem to fit true to size, have support in my arches, feel nice and are lightweight. I hope I can hike over many hills while rockhounding. So happy I made this purchase and have already suggested them to a friend.

I used these boots for numerous days of walking and hiking in Peru. They were even comfortable enough for sitting in the airplane for an overnight flight. There was not much of a breaking in period needed. The only time that I found them to be a bit slippery was on smooth tile surfaces such as in a restaurant or bathroom. I climbed up Machu Pichu with them and up many uneven large stone steps. I recommend that you order at least one half size larger if not one size larger and that you pair them with medium weight merino wool socks and the orthotics of your choice. Using orthotics with arch support will pull your toes up and away from the ends of the boots.They are waterproof and still look great after traversing through dusty and dirty areas. The laces and grommets allow you to easily adjust the fit.Comfortable, perfect for all season wear, great traction, attractive, not too “glommy” looking, suede leather, waterproof, suitable for medium width, durable - all of these apply. Great ankle support and suitable for women of all shapes and sizes!

These boots are awesome!!! Extremely comfortable and well fitting. I would get another pair if I could.

Love Columbia Shoes but these run very small. Just ordered a half size up. Will update my review when I get them.
