First glance, I thought this is too short but it is exactly same as old part so works great. Needed for computer repair and was a very easy install.

The OEM design is poor. The depth of the port is much less than the insertion connector length of the charger. That is the reason for the failure of the OEM part, and potentially this part if not used with great care.

I had already returned one jack i recieved from another site. The previous one was to long ,the pins were backwards. This one was absolutely identical to the one I pulled out. WORKS like a champ. So you have to look at these cables closely its dc power so it has to be right. And this one fit the bill to a T.
