I like to leave my doors to my house open because I have front and back porches that my cats and dogs loved, they have no worries going thought the plastic doors at all, and the doors keeps the hot air out and the cold air in, I just wish they had a better way of closing.

This is largely a negative review for the 72x80 (French door) version - I'm not sure if the narrower versions suffer the same problems, but these are real issues for this version. That said I'll start with the positives:This is fundamentally what I had been trying to find, the material used is light and easily pushed aside, doesn't crinkle, or feel fragile. Also, this is a weather curtain, and the seller recognized that therefore the top edge could collect water, and so included some additional weather proofing tape which I really appreciated for to (optionally) run along the top. The overall construction was also remarkably good for what is a relatively cheap product (e.g. materials don't seem excessively thin, no obvious stitching issues, corners and connections seem reasonably reinforced etc).Alas, there's a lot that is not good - these all seem design choice problems rather than construction/materials (except the magnet strength):* I got the 72x80 French door version to replace a 72x80 mesh curtain of essentially the same design during winter. This curtain is about 2" narrower than that mesh curtain despite being for the same door size. As a result even with the velcro strips right on the edge of the door frame it barely closes.* Given the lack of any margin, the embedded magnets are only barely strong enough to keep it closed even without any rain or wind. The moment there is any wind or even moderate rain the magnets are not strong enough and the bottom starts to get pushed open.* Once the bottom does start to flap open, there are no weights at the bottom to cause it to hang shut again, so even when the breeze stops it does not reseal. I guess this is a downside to my earlier positive comment about it being very light weight.Because of these issues, I would not recommend this curtain as presently designed. The only reason I'm not returning it is because I *thought* it was sufficient and had velcro'd and pinned it up, and even if it's not ideal I am loathe to return something once it is functionally damaged. For the seller: fundamentally this is the product I was wanting, and I think it could be easily improved to be perfect:* Add one to two inches of width so that there can be some slack after mounting to the frame* Add some weights to the bottom of the curtain to help it self close if it does get blown open* Strengthen the magnets, especially the bottom couple of feet where they're subject to the most force* Maybe add a fabric overlap down the point of the join - there's some airflow between the curtain gap in the spaces between the magnets* I wonder if a rigid spar at the bottom would also mitigate these issues? preventing the corner flapping problem, supporting the magnets, and helping to have it self close when the flap does open?If you could address those issues I'd happily try again.

I put this on the exterior of my backdoor to keep the drafts out as it dipped -20 degrees F. The magnets don’t stay together in a light breeze. When there is a breeze, the magnets in the flaps hit against the door. While it’s not totally useless, it does keep the draft out when it stays together, it’s definitely a $20 door cover. The Velcro strips barely stay on. I had to tack them on with the cheap ones provided, all of which bent. I’m not sure if it will even make it the next few months of use this winter. If you don’t want to be throwing away a big sheet of plastic trash shortly after purchasing, consider investing in one a little nicer.I did buy a quilted interior door cover (Magzo insulated door curtain) that was ~$50. The quality in all components is night and day. Spend a little more and get a lot, wish I had.
