Got this for my son after checking many different brands and models. My son is very happy with it. He says it's the most comfortable regulator he has used after over fifty dives in 1 1/2 years. It compared with regulators I costing twice as much so it was a great value too.

PRICE: The first thing to notice about this regulator is that, on sale, it's significantly cheaper than most of the mid to high quality regulators on the market. When I was renting gear for scuba diving on my first 10-15 dives, I was using a Mares Abyss regulator that runs about $500.WEIGHT: This Cressi is much lighter than the Mares and breathes exactly the same, if not a little better. The weight is obviously due to the plastic vs metal construction between the two. Don't be fooled, the Cressi Titanium may look like metal in the stock photo and it does have some titanium parts but the second stage is constructed mostly of durable plastic. I find that the lighter construction of the Cressi cause much less jaw fatigue than the heavier construction of a Mares regulator.MOUTHPIECE: As you may have read in the other reviews, this Cressi regulator comes with a small, but tough rubber mouthpiece. By design it doesn't fit very far back into your mouth, which you may find more comfortable, but it also gives the regulator that feeling that it could fall out (it never has for me on 8 dives). It's too easy to buy another mouthpiece for $20-30 if you want to change it out.PERFORMANCE: This regulator breathes just as easily as any other regulator I've used. I haven't taken it down past 70-80 feet yet but so far it seems to perform consistently at any depth. The anti-free-flow switch on the top of the second stage is a simple design but it seems to get the job done. I haven't had any free-flowing on the surface.All-in-all this is a great regulator for those who don't want to shell out $700-900 for a Mares Carbon 52 or Scubapro A700. This is certainly NOT a "you get what you pay for" purchase. This regulator functions just as well as the leading brands that sell for much more.
