The product does help with squeezing tubes like caulk, glue and the like. It seems to be a knock off of theGTE MasterBead. From videos I have seen of that product, there is no metal bar add-on and no need to tighten screws that this one needs which would make it far easier to use in than this one. Also, there are no instructions in the packaging. You need to check the video in the Amazon product to see where that bar goes and up to the user to figure out where exactly it is supposed to and why.As others have noted, it can be too large for certain spaces. However, overall the tool does work and does help squeezing the tube. The difference here compared with a different solution is that this tool doesn't need the user to keep pulling the tube after extrusion.

Made this work. Didn't have a lot of faith in this given some of the other reviews. In the end though, this is fine, though a bit difficult to work with. You need a "real" screwdriver to properly tighten down the butt end of the tube, though I'm sure you have to use care not to strip out the clamping screws also. I'm not sure I could get a brand new, full, tube mounted either. I had a partial Lexel tube that I tested this on. I find Lexel particularly difficult to apply with just squeezing out the tube by hand. This made that job a lot easier. I did have to cut the very end off as that tube has an eyelet for some reason, and it tore out on first use. I cut off the end to make it square and it held fine after that. It also pretty much takes 3 hands to release pressure on the tube when you stop for the day, but I'm sure that is also a matter of practice. Many other versions of this are here on Amazon, for a lot less money. Not sure if they are significantly different. Shop carefully.

So this works for my acrylic paint tubes just fine. However, you need to have the included Philipps screwdriver, or any Philipps screwdriver, in order to clamp the end of the tube to the unit. You also can't lose the metal insert which protects the end of your tube from the screws. Since I needed to use this on multiple tubes, it got to be a pain to screw/unscrew the end for each paint tube. There has to be a better way to clamp down the end of the tube. The front part that squeezes the tube has clamping smooth jaws which would also have been useful on the other end, instead of screwing/unscrewing in order to install another tube. While this has good leverage, it's too much trouble to install the tubes, especially if you need to work fast. I ended up using a 3D-printed toothpaste squeezer.

This was very complicated to even figure out. Required two people to manipulate. After watching the video 4 times and finally figuring out how to open the tool I couldn't fit the tube of glue in insert as it didn't line up. Set it back quickly.
