2014 Mustang, went together perfectly, flange fit fine. We shall see how well the seal performs. Update, seal has performed perfectly.

The splines on the yoke are undersize. You will end up having to smash it onto the pinion and this removes any chance you had of properly setting the pinion bearing preload. Now I have to pull it off and do it all over again tomorrow. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We needed a new pinion seal for my truck and my dad recommend I get this one. Well it all looked good quality and fixed my leak.

Perfect kit as all of those parts have to come off and usually the yoke is worn and needs replacing as well. Easy fix no more leaky differential.

I ended up re-using the original drive flange with slightly pitted oil seal surface instead of the this new one. The Dorman drive flange was so tight on the pinion splines that after using the pinion nut to force it a couple of millimetres onto the pinion I gave up out of fear of ending up with it jammed in place only half way on. If I'd made a tool to stop the drive flange rotating instead of relying on the differential internals to keep it still then I would have been happier to use a lot more force on the nut and maybe would have got it on.....but I could also have got it stuck half on and been unable to remove it even with a the big puller .... then I would have been really screwed. The flange spline clearances are much too tight.Aside from this (major!!) issue the flange was the same thickness as the original - different to others who got a thinner one? - and there was a plastic cup to shield the oil seal from road grit - nice touch.Oil seal was fine. It needs a fair amount of force to get it in. To avoid potentially distorting it you need to buy or make a tool to drive it in evenly. Whacking it in the edge with a hammer risks twisting it......or damaging the seal lip
