I have an '81 body CJ7 and a '79 drivetrain (T150 transmission) I purchased this, the Dorman Master Cylinder, line and there's a little white plastic piece that goes on the end of the rod for the slave to the clutch fork. I purchased it all for an '81 to make the conversion to hydraulic clutch, used a hole saw on the firewall next to the brake MC, had to drill a hole in the brake pedal once I found where I wanted it to go (vice grips to hold the pushrod until I was happy with the travel) Mounted the slave 1 hole lower to get a more in-line push, has been working great. Worth the money so my manual linkage doesn't fall out on me every so often.

Worked great on my 5.3l vortec to NV4500 advanced adapter bell housing. I did have to grind the top part of the mounting flange as it interfered with a bellhousing bolt, but I still think it's the right part, and significantly cheaper than the same slave cylinder from Advanced adapters.
