I actually used one of these to hang a large, long handled spatula that I use all the time and it works great. Very easy to grab the spatula and it works as drying rack for it as well. I might hang one in my garage for hammers, pry bars and the like. The quality seems great - its just a solid piece of steel with mounting holes. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy - on par with any other hammer hanger. It will probably last indefinitely with normal use.Overall worth it. I might actually get another set of them.

I've been hanging my hammers on nails poking thru from the garage siding, but these are a better solution simply because I can put them where I want and they work for both claw and ball peen hammers. I don't need them to attach to a tool belt, so can't comment on that usage, but screwing them into the plywood sheathing worked well. They are wide enough that a double stud isn't enough surface to screw into, you'd need a triple stud width for that.I have a couple of large (normal size) hammers and one small one my wife bought for tapping in picture frame nails and these hangers are too wide for the small hammer. All I can do for that one is drape the claw over the hanger and let it rotate to whatever vertical position it likes. In contrast, the regular size hammers rest both the face and the other end on the hanger. These are really sturdy hangers with 4 holes for screws in each, so should support quite a bit of weight. I used only 2 screws for the hammers. I could see using these for other purposes where you have maybe a carabiner hook or something like that that you could attach. I'd get these again if I needed more.
