Dream cymbals are an incredible value for the quality you get. They are big, loud, and record nicely.That said, I have noticed that their paper thin lines sound the most complex, while their thicker cymbal offerings, especially the Bliss line, sound more like high end entry level cymbals. This is my personal opinion, of course, and I do have an 18” Bliss Medium Crash Ride that I love.This ride cymbal is on the thicker side, with a crisp, clear bell, and a nice, high end shimmer. It does have a couple of problematic frequencies that can cause a feedback loop if not caught early, but all in all, it’s a great rock ride cymbal if you are trying to capture that 90’s rock sound. I don’t feel like it would work as well in metal.I personally enjoy this cymbal for loud gigs. It does not crash well, so if you like versatile rides, this is not for you.But for the money, I enjoy it.

I bought this to use as a ride cymbal, but it sounded amazing as a crash/gong but did not work as a ride for me. It just starts ringing loudly right away. The Bell and the crash of it are incredible if you want a very clear and bright gong like tone! If I had the money I would keep it as an extra effect cymbal.
