Here in Florida toothy fish tear these things up. Expect these lures to be bitten off the line and the finish to chip.

I caught so many fish with these lures while surf fishing in northern Florida. For some reason mostly late afternoon.

VERY bright & reflective, so you could use these as they are OR decorate for whatever you're targeting. I needed some essentially "blank" 2oz jigs for salmon fishing on the WA Coast as I typically use different colored reflective tape depending on the species I'm targeting, and these will work very well. I had to replace the treble hooks with single 2/0 O'Shaughnessy hooks (WA State Law) for salmon, but no worries. Was able to cast mine pretty far using my 9' surf rod and a reel with #20 braid. No hookups yet, but still a little early for the Fall salmon run in the bay. Other thought: I've been seeing guys using Kastmaster-syle chrome jigs out in the surf with great success for red-taled surf perch, so will try these for that purpose soon.
