When I got this, I though, this is crazy. This eight time smaller than a 60 watt LED driver that I just installed. So I tried it out. If you want a power supply to survive, you drive it no more than 80% of its rated power output. Why? Because power supplies are designed to take care of things like start up spikes and turn on devices that draw more current until they are warmed up. A person can run fast, but for just a short time. Bu, they can find a speed that that can do for a long time.80% of 60 is 48 watts, so this power supply should survive that without a sweat.I loaded this thing down with 7 LED lights rated at 7 watts each, for a total of 49 watts, a little high but close enough After an hour, I was disappointed. The power supply was very warm but not on its way to burning up. I was hoping for spectacular but I guess boring is good.I had a few dimmers in a box. I chose a dimmer that had seen duty as a dimmer for light over our dining room until my wife started her crusade to go to rectangular switches. It worked well and I was to go from full brightness to threshold, where you barely see that the light was on.I could not get the lights to come back on if the level was too low when power was cut to the power supply. This was at a level lower than I planned on using. At my chosen brightness, it was just fine.I did not test the actual output of this power supply and I did not test the exact draw of the lights. I plan on using this power supply with a dimmer with 6 of these lights. It passed that test.I gave this 5 stars because it ran the lights that I need it to.

Great driver for my under cabinet strips. Dimming works with lutron switch. Replaced direct wire light bars that made a constanst buzz. These drivers are wired in my crawl space so very happy it is a self enclosed junction box.

This worked out just fine for the job I needed it to do.I'm sure you can find better quality on the market but for the price it's not a bad deal

This LED driver was smaller than I expected, which made installation really easy—it’s just 2.9” x 1.58” x 0.91”, so it hides well out of sight. The wiring was straightforward too: black and white for 120V AC input (50/60Hz) and black and red for 12V DC output at 5A, 60W.I used it to power some under-cabinet LED lights and was especially looking for a driver that would work with my Lutron dimmer switch without any flickering or buzzing. This one delivered exactly that—silent, smooth dimming, and it stays surprisingly cool even after hours of use. After a few months of daily operation, it’s been rock-solid with no issues at all. It’s also UL listed, which gave me some peace of mind. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with noisy or overheating drivers, so finding one this compact, quiet, and reliable feels like a win. Definitely recommend it if you're updating or installing dimmable LED lighting.

Don't let the size fool you. The small form factor outputs 60 watts and it perfect for diving LED strips.
