I trhought by looking at the pic on amazon that it was quite a bit smaller , i hesitated to buy it because of the price for such a drum bracket ,but man this is ready for ww3 , its even overkill for small hardware like mini boom stands ,but if like me you do have big heavy drums and hardware this will do the job no problem .

This is the best clamp in my arsenal. I use it to hold my iPad while performing and it allows me to get it out further than any other I've tried. Solid!

This clamp looks great as with all DW items. My reason for a lower review is because the website specification said this clamp was 14 X 5 X 2 inches. That is deceptive and it is not 14 inches. It is 9 inches long total. It is 7 inches from center of clamp to center of clamp. I can not use this and I am returning it. I need at least 9 inches, more would be better, from center of clamp to center of clamp. I need to clamp an item to a hi-hat stand with 15 inch hi-hats. The 7 inches this clamp provides does not clear the edge of my hi-hat cymbals.
