I finally got the other designed filter unscrewed from the filter compartment and put this filter design in and tightened with filter wrench I made years ago. Will buy this filter design again. The other design in motor filter came from a oil change shop and was loose which means I had diesel seeping onto engine for awhile. NEW filter and stopped the diesel seepage.

Decided to try this brand on my '97 F350 7.3 as I have been using this brand on my Fiat for oil and air intake with no issues since 2016. Install was simple, installed hand-tight, then a quarter turn with the cap wrench. No leaks, no issues, just remember to lube the ring gasket on install. The new filter was a bit smaller in diameter than the OEM, but should be fine, included cap seems of good quality and weight. Tip: Add some Diesel Kleen to your fuel-ups & your 444 will thank you with smoother idles, a bit more getup&go and injectors stay nice. Ours are still factory and in great shape!
