Its the cheapest version i could find, did not expect much as i did not need much of it.Turns out, its really good, running at 80psi i have not experienced a single problem. Runnjng 2 inch nails into hardwood without flinching.Funny enough, im pretty sure someone sneaky purchased, used and then returned this gun before i got it as it was a little dirty and scuffed. So double kudos to this gun.Great unit.

We are renovating our house and the hubs brad nailer died. We needed something quick (thank you Amazon for the fast delivery!) and economical. Took a chance on this item and couldn't be happier. It is easy to handle, works like a charm and doesn't jam. The hubs is over the moon with his new toy and that's high praise indeed!

Looked at various other models before finally coming across Numax. All the other name brands cost at least 3 times the cost of this. I figured i'll give it a shot and see how it goes. After all if it doesn't work I can always return it with Amazon! I'm a novice when it comes to nailers. This was my first ever nailer, so the learning curve was a little steep (dont laugh!). After reading the manual I bought the correct brad nails from the local store and after a little struggle figured out how to put them in. Now for anyone who has used a nailer before this is second nature I'm sure. Now that I know where and how the nails go in its a breeze to load it. I had to install some base boards so I was using 2" nails on Pine wood. The nailer worked flawlessly. I dont know why other manufactures ask for such a high price when you can build it for a lot cheaper.Pro's: Excellent excellent price. Well built. Easy to use. Did not jam yet. I have driven around 50-100 nails now. The red line in the cartridge shows you when it needs more nails. I used 90 PSI and it had no problems driving the 2" nails through my Pine wood baseboard flush. No tears on the face of the BB either.Cons: I dont think it has a safety lock. Doesnt have an adjustable depth control but they say it can be adjusted with the air pressure. Never tried it so cant comment on it. For my application 90 PSI worked great.I dont know why anyone else would go spend 200+ to buy a nailer that does the exact same thing. I'm sold on this product so i purchased another nailer to do some crown molding work. You just cant beat the price. I dont know if it withstands the work load of a professional contractor but for any DIY guy this is more than you need.

I have never used a nailer before, and I don't know what the difference is between this one and the ones that cost $200-300, but this one worked great for me. My dad had a compressor. I had to go to the hardware store with it to get a quick connect and a quick coupler that matched. I didn't even know what those were and so when I went to the hardware store I took the manual with me. The guy picked up a couple of things and said,"Here's what you need." I bought them, went out to the car, opened them and tried to put them on but they didn't fit. I took them back inside, and he realized he had sold me the wrong items, so he used a wrench to get the thing off that came with the nailer (it was on with pipe thread - that white tape that makes it really screw in tightly), and put in a new one that matched the quick coupler, that fit on the hose of the air compressor. Really, it wasn't that big a deal, but I was glad I took in the nailer, the manual, and the hose with me to make sure I had the right things.I was nervous to use it the first time - I had heard that you have to let it recoil and not hold it down. But a couple of times I think I pulled back as soon as it fired, which resulted in the nail not going all the way in. I found that when I was relaxed and didn't try to overthink my technique, that it went in perfectly. I will say that the manual was not as detailed as I (a novice) would have liked. Some parts were confusing. Like the diagram showed an oiler and filter on the hose of the air compressor. We didn't have that. So I asked my neighbor, and he told me to just put a couple of drops of oil in the hole where the hose connects, and the compressed air will spread the oil into the nailer as needed. It was even confusing how to open the bottle of oil - no directions for that. My dad did it finally, but it involved taking off the top and turning it upside down and screwing it back on or something. There is a long protruding piece that is inside the bottle, and you want to take it off and put it back on so that the protruding part is outside the bottle, out of which come the drops of oil. At first we couldn't get the cover to close when putting in the magazine of nails, but after fiddling with it and getting them seated really flat, it closed. The 51mm Proctor Cable 2" nails worked fine - no issue of them being too long (as with some nailers that need 2" nails that are really only 50mm).It sure made short work of putting in those baseboards! I like the fact that it's really light - half the weight of some others I looked at. I look forward to using it to put in window casings.I bought it used in "like new" condition from Amazon Warehouse, and it was very much like new. Good deal!

Very good product, high quality, and I tested it, but keep in mind that U nails are not supported.
