I bought this for a friend after she tried out my blue one.She loves it! keeps her hair back and out of her face, protects from the sun, and is just a good hat.

The FCS Essential Surf Bucket Hat felt a bit tight when I first put it on right after delivery but after a dip in the surf it felt just right. The hat came off twice, I probably should have cinched it up after it got wet, but it floated in the salt water until I could retrieve it again. This is unlike my wife's Tilley hat that sank like a stone in a Georgia lake a few years back. Overall, the hat kept much of the sun off my face and that's what I was looking for. Good hat!

My husband loves his surf hat. He says it fits great. He thought the hat would feel heavy once it got wet while surfing but he says it felt light and airy. He highly recommends this for anyone to protect themselves from the fierce sun. Thank you.
