All my life I have worn glasses I also owned 3 pairs of binoculars before these, I always had to remove my glasses to see through them, these new binoculars work great I can keep my glasses on, what a game changer, how's come I didn't know about long relief glasses before now.

These binoculars are perfect for me ! I didn't want to spend a lot of money on binoculars for my casual, backyard bird watching. I wear glasses, did a little research and found I needed binoculars with eye relief. These long eye relief 19 mm binoculars allow me to see perfectly with my glasses or prescription sunglasses ! The only small issue was there were no rubber eye cups, not sure if they were missing or not included in the purchase (not listed in the online product description but mentioned in the instructions)? As an eyeglass wearer you fold them down anyway, so didn't feel it was worth the time or effort to return them. Still happy with my purchase !

I have 4 or 5 pairs of 10x50 binoculars, but none of them can be mounted on my new parallelogram mount. So I was in the market for something with the center-post 1/4"x20 mount, long eye relief with twist-up eyecups so they don't fog up in winter, and multi-coated optics for good contrast at night. When I saw these, the price seemed to good to be true. A few messages back and forth with the Binger rep calmed my concerns. And he made a point that their "slow polishing" of the lenses made for a superior optical product. So I decided to take a chance, and bought a pair of the LE1050's.Fit and finish is very good, except for a somewhat loose-fitting right eyecup. Maybe a notch below Nikon standards, but very good. They arrived in very good collimation. Eye relief is a huge 19mm. That's excellent for wearers of glasses, and should be plenty of space to stop winter-time fogging. Focusing is smooth, diopter adjustment holds true as I focus from near to far. Mechanically, they feel very solid and everything works as expected.Optically, they are very good to excellent, good contrast, very sharp images with vivid colors, easily bettering all of my other 10x50's. My eyes feel relaxed looking through them. Sharpness is maintained over 80-90% of the field of view. Best comparison is to my Nikon 8x42's. Sharpness is about the same, but the Bingers are even better in color saturation. Perhaps there is something to the slow-polishing of lenses. My sole complaint is with the loose-fitting right eyecup. Fortunately the fix was simple - wedge a small piece of foam in the gap to keep it in place. In summary, I give these very high marks for price vs performance. Very good optics in a well-built but reasonably-priced package. Binoculars with long eye relief have more complicated optics in the eyepieces, cost more to make, and command a premium price. These deliver the performance with not a huge price premium. I will definitely be considering other Binger binocular models.
