Works great right out of the box. However it does not come with any nes, gameboy, or n64 games. I own a mac so unfortunately it’s a little harder to add games the device. If you’re not computer savvy I’d recommend you research into different consoles that are more user friendly!

This has quickly become one of my favorite hand held units. It has a large, bright display and is LOADED with games - including some of my favorite classics! I've been playing this for two months before writing this review and have had zero issues out of it (I've seen chatter about issues with the controls but this hasn't been my experience). Connects easily to WiFi, and I paired Bluetooth earbuds with it. Great battery life and it's well built. This is an excellent device for classic gaming!

It's got a bunch of good games, and a great set of emulators.The 4" screen is absolutely awesome, crystal clear!I went through my standard list of games to check, and it didn't have a good Mame Joust, Karate Champ, or Gauntlet. It had some console ports of each of those that were meh.But the buttons were really solid, seems like the best quality I've tried so far. It feels the best in my hands.And it still has some great games. Of course it has Dig Dug, all the Donkey Kong, Pac Man, all the bullet hell shooters you could want. Some really good PSP and PS1 games.This is good enough, I think I might actually try to figure out how to add ROMs to it.RECOMMENDED.
