It did what it was supposed to do. I did put binding glue, on binding before hand and then taped it afterward, inside and out.

Binding of our bible has gotten worn, cracked and pealing. Our Pastor recommended this book binding tape. It's fabric, which is good because it's a bit more flexible. Bible is only about 1 inch thick at the binding, so this item worked fine. If you have a book that is more than 2 inches thick, it may not work. But for me, this worked better than I expected. Bible was black so this matched.

This tape is perfect for book covers and for some specific book binding projects. The adhesive is strong, so it’s best suited for the cover rather than the text block. It looks great and is very easy to use. I reached out to the company through their website with specific questions about the adhesive (its pH, durability in humidity and heat, etc.), and their customer service was excellent—thorough, friendly, and informative. Their response gave me full confidence to purchase more of their products. While only time will tell how it holds up, I’m confident about this tape and would highly recommend it based on my experience so far!

Bought to fix a book I bought used off Amazon lol. Good adhesion and had no more issues.
