I like this bin. I like having the odour filter, however, the cover and the first filter ended up in the compost within a week of purchase. The only reason I became aware of this was a sudden appearance of fruit flies. We now keep the filter in place with tape, so not ideal.

With our green waste regulations changing where I live, I thought it was going to be a big headache. But adding this pail to my counter top made it easier than I thought it would be. It’s the perfect size and very easy to use. Have not had any problems with odor while the lid is closed. Changing out the bag is easy and clean. I also had a loose filter cap which dropped in and got thrown away before I noticed. I contacted the customer service by email and rec’d. an instant response and a replacement. The new cap fits perfectly!

I like this thing. It’s an improvement over Tupperware containers. That said, the carbon filter thing falls out easily. Ended up duct taping it in. But there’s a lot of moisture so it’s a bit icky. Good for what it is though.
