Washer was flashing P1 code and only getting up to about $129°. Mice had eaten the wires and replaced it in about 5 minutes with a 7/16 wrench. We are a nonprofit kitchen for the community and homeless and service technician wanted over $200 just to show up. If you try to get a service manual from Hobart it's nearly impossible. If you buy the part from Hobart it's $149 so this is an awesome, economical solution for us with an extremely limited budget. (You can however download a parts manual from other sources)

Got our dishwasher back in action.

Our Hobart LXi-H commercial dishwasher was flashing the wrench symbol and P3 code indicating something was wrong with the boost temperature on the rinse cycle. Facing a minimum $500 service charge from a Hobart certified mechanic, we figured to try replacing this sensor first. This new sensor did the trick and now our dishwasher is again producing 185 degree +/- rinse temperatures (with the P3 code it would only get to about 140). Seems to have done the trick and is an easy fix. Be prepared to have a few towels on hand when replacing the sensor (7/16" open end wrench and a phillips screwdriver are the only tools you'll need) as water will spill out of the booster element box. We put some teflon tape on the sensor threads for good measure.
