I’m having a lot of fun learning harmonica as a beginner. The set plays fine and the C harmonica sounds good. But I’m really disappointed that the key label wore off after just a few days of light use. The first time I went to swap it out for a different key - the “C” was already completely gone. Now I have to look really closely to figure out which one it is.I expected better from Hohner. Even for a beginner set, the key markings should last longer.

These are relatively small and challenging to isolate tones, but a little practice shows they are fine instruments with nice tones.

Everything I could have ever expected. Love the sound. Awesome that they came with 30 days of free online lessons. Already playing without the lessons.money spent on musical instruments is money well spent.

As a beginner/intermediate player, I bought this inexpensive set mainly for the case and to have the full set for when I need to play in a key I don't have. I normally prefer the Special 20, and have them in C, G, and A, and this inexpensively finishes out the 7 set with the other keys. The case may not be as rugged as some of the more expensive Hohner cases you can buy separately, but it's plenty rugged for my use. If you can afford it, a 7 set of Special 20s would be ideal if you're an intermediate or advanced musician. (just my opinion, there are lots of other great harmonicas out there)
